Taking MP3 Quickie Version 2.00 Springbok to a whole new level

This post is to document my latest idea to improve the functionality of MP3 Quickie. My latest idea is to allow the creator of an MP3, to send an E-mail to another person. The E-mail address can either be typed in, or picked from a list of E-mails of course participants (provided each student has not disabled his or her E-mail address for privacy reasons). If the E-mail address is typed in, then the recipient can be anyone whom the sender knows. Here's a prototype image of what the Quickie can look like in the near future:

A pick list is displayed. It that allows the user to select the E-mail address from a list of course participants.

Sending an E-mail notification to a student in David Mudrak's Stamp Collection module for Moodle 2.2!

I've discovered how to send an E-mail notification for David Mudrak's Stamp Collection module for Moodle 2.2. It's really easy. All you need to do is to copy this code:

Will install and support/update code...for food

By the grace of God, for more than a year, I've been creating Moodle innovations (at least I'd like to think of them as such). Many of the innovations took many hours and even days to bring to fruition. I've made available the code to many of the mini-projects which catered mainly for Moodle 1.9.x users and administrators. I've since decided to make use of my creative and programming talents to offer my services of Moodle coding and installation of code to anyone who may have the need, but not the time to do so.

 Mug Shot time

I am therefore offering my time and services at a reasonable fee. Why? Firstly, my readership has demanded it. I have received requests from the Continent and the States for installation and support work of 3rd-party Moodle modules and plugins. Secondly, Moodle plugins are complicated and the installation, customization, and testing is time-consuming and tricky. Hire a professional like me. Think of the time, stress and money you'll save.

You've got a Stamp! Sending a E-mail notification to a student each time a Stamp is awarded (in Moodle 1.9)

On my drive home from work yesterday afternoon, I had a brain-storm. I thought to myself: "Why can't the Stamp Collection module for Moodle 1.9.x, created by David Nudrak, have its own built-in E-mail notification system?". After all, wouldn't it be useful for students to receive an E-mail from the teacher each time a stamp was awarded?

MP3 Quickie voice recorder for Moodle matures into Version 2.00, code-named Springbok

Okay, now here's what this blog post is all about. See that beauty on the left-hand side of my Moodle site?

Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you, a modern and aesthetic voice recording tool to create MP3 files on your Moodle block. MP3 Quickie Version 2.0, code-named, Springbok. The user interface is spritely, funky, lively and fun - just like the Springbok of South Africa.
